This is the scene looking up. It's an oasis of verdancy, and it smells like the woods in North Carolina, where we used to hike out to see waterfalls in Brevard County, Pisgah National Forest.

Porsche 944
My favorite car. This one belongs to the people living next door to Anna on Stanford. I always wanted one, but Elizabeth "Bootsy" Hutchinson put me off with the reality; she told me I could never afford one unless I was married to a mechanic like she was, because they require lots of maintenance and tinkering to run well. She had a gold 944.

Driving back from Albuquerque this afternoon, I nearly left the road mesmerized by looking up.
