The moon was a ghostly galleon

tossed upon cloudy seas...

and a lovely moonrise this evening

Cranes headed south at sunrise

In the sky over my house

this afternoon

Crows harassing a hawk

Flowers inside

They are asking me when I will go to Hawaii...

and who will go with me.

Fullish Moon

caught in the branches of my neighbor's tree.

My best best boy

is gone.

Departed 31 Dec 2011 between 7 and 7:30 am.

He was my friend and companion for 17 years.

I miss him terribly.
